- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had a excellent experience at Eli Mayes Dental office in Island City, OR, today. I was scheduled to have one crown, but between my initial appointment, I severely cracked another tooth, behind my original crown planned repair. While I didn't inform them of my second tooth fracture, Eli and his staff, worked me into their schedule and performed an 3 hour procedure to repair and crown both of my teeth, one being a molar, which requires additional milling. They are top notch and I would absolutely recommend their office to anyone in the area. This is coming from a person that has avoided the dentist for over a decade, for a fear of pain, but Dr. Mayes is cognizant of those apprehensions and is absolutely fantastic at administering anesthesia, it is almost painless. End of story: 2 crowns, for the first time, it was quick, painless and almost enjoyable. I even got to watch my favorite Netflix season of "Meat Eater" during my procedure.
